THE CELLAR SINGERS

Composed by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams in 1912, the Fantasia on Christmas Carols is a work that sets four poems in a single movement. Roughly twelve minutes in length, it consists of the English folkcarols "The truth sent from above", "Come all you worthy gentlemen" and "On Christmas night all Christians sing" (Sussex Carol).

The work is written for a baritone soloist, SATB chorus and piano.
